Does it actually slide?
Yes. That is the point of it. The Swing Glide is built to move freely along its track so your arms can complete the path, and to hold that path honestly when you try to throw the club out. Watch the travel below.
- It glides, it does not drag
- The slider runs on a low-friction sleeve, so it travels with your arms instead of snagging halfway through the backswing. Basic versions often use a fixed loop that grabs the fabric and stalls.
- It moves around your body
- As you turn, the glide tracks across your chest and follows the arc of the swing. You feel the path continue rather than stopping at the top and starting again.
- You feel it the moment you go over the top
- Come across the line and the travel resists straight away. Stay on plane and it keeps flowing. That is the whole feedback loop, no batteries, no app.

Feel it the moment you go wrong
Come over the top and you feel the band load up before the club has reached hip height. You are not watching a swing on a phone afterwards and trying to remember what it felt like. You are feeling it while there is still time to do something about it.
Ten minutes, then take it off
This is not something you wear for a round. Ten minutes of hitting balls with it, then take it off and hit ten more without. The gap between those two is where the learning happens.
The obvious question
It's a band. Why isn't it a tenner?
Fair question, but it's not just a band.
The difference isn't what it looks like. It's what happens when you load it.
A cheap elasticated band can stretch so easily that it tells you almost nothing. Go too far the other way and the resistance starts fighting your turn, restricting the movement you're actually trying to improve.
Getting that resistance right across the range of a golf swing is the whole point.

Straight answer
This won't suit everyone.
It works best if:
- You have played for a few years and you are stuck rather than starting out.
- You know roughly what you are doing wrong and cannot stop doing it.
- You can get to a range or a net once a week.
- You are somewhere between a 10 and a 24 handicap.
Give it a miss if:
- You have never held a club. Get a couple of lessons first, then come back.
- You're a single figure golfer with a sound path. Pros use it to keep a good pattern grooved, but it won't find a fault you don't have.

Golfers aren't a standard size. If the standard bands don't fit your arms or your build, tell us in your order notes and we'll make you a custom band, free. It costs us money and takes us time. We do it because a training aid that doesn't fit properly is worse than useless.
How it works in practice: order as normal, then put your chest measurement and trail arm length in the order notes, or email us after you have ordered. We will come back to you if anything looks unusual. This may add 3 days to dispatch time.
Buying for a golfer?

A word of warning, because it is worth saying. If the golfer you are buying for has not asked for help with their swing, a training aid can land badly. The safe version is to give it as a bit of a laugh rather than a diagnosis. It usually gets used either way.

If you're anything like us, you'll feel a little awkward using a training aid at the range. Relax, our aids are used by golf pros and improving golfers alike.
It won't fix your swing this weekend.
Reckon on around three hundred swings. Most people say it clicks somewhere in week three. If you want a miracle, there are plenty of people happy to sell you one.
We are three people and a workbench.
There is no warehouse and no customer service department. If you email us, one of us reads it, usually the same day, occasionally at an hour that suggests we should have gone to bed. That is the trade you are making: no next day delivery from a giant shed, but a real person who knows the product and can make you a custom one if you need it.

Before you buy
Is the Swing Glide the same as the TRS Slider?
No. Both aim to stop the over the top move, but the Swing Glide is made and dispatched in Britain, and we offer free custom sizing if the standard band does not fit you. We have written a full comparison, including the areas where theirs comes out ahead.
Which one should I buy first?
Most people take the bundle, because most people have a bit of both faults. If you must pick one: Swing Glide if you slice, Wedge Trainer if you chunk your wedges.
How long until I see a difference?
Around three hundred swings. Most people notice it in week three. It is not a weekend fix.
Do I need a coach to use it?
No. A coach can only tell you what happened after it happened. This tells you while it's happening, which is the only point at which you can do anything about it.
What if I don't get on with it?
If you change your mind about a standard item, you can return it within 14 days of delivery. Custom-made bands can't be returned for a change of mind, but if one doesn't fit as ordered, we'll put it right. Full details are on our Shipping & Returns page.
Will these fit in my golf bag?
Yes. Both are compact and light enough to live in your bag permanently for range and pre-round warm-ups.
What if the standard sizes don't fit me?
Tell us in the order notes and we'll customise a Swing Glide arm band free of charge.
